Traveling with a Sensitive Cat

The reality of training a travel-sick kitty can be a real challenge. We’ve been acclimatizing Munchie Rabbitovitz to going out, but it turns out even the short 5 min trip is a bit too much for him right today. Poor little Rabbitovitz got nauseous and ended up being sick in his carrier.

Naturally, that meant an immediate trip back home for a wash, which he wasn’t exactly thrilled about.

It was a bit of a rough afternoon, but Munchie was a total trooper. He got some delicious treats afterward to make up for the drama, and he’s back to being his grumpy-but-cute self.

a tasty treat and he was happy

We are currently wondering if a different gear setup. Maybe a pram or a more stable carrier might help him feel more secure and less motion-sick during our future outings. We’ll keep taking it slow one small step at a time! 🐾✨
